The problem

Your backyard sits unfinished while your bill keeps climbing.

There's no shade, so nobody stays outside long. The patio furniture bakes in the sun. And every month you pay full price for electricity you had no way to make yourself.

  • No comfortable place to sit outside on a hot afternoon
  • Friends and family end up indoors instead of in your yard
  • A backyard that still feels half done, year after year
  • Full price on every kilowatt hour you use

Questions

Common questions

When can I get one?
Persola launches in 2027. Requesting a quote now puts you in line for the first builds and locks in your spot as we schedule installs.
What does it cost?
Exact pricing depends on site conditions, the way you will tie to the grid, and the cost of your local installer. We give you a written quote after we review your space, and existing setup, with no obligation.
How much will I actually save?
Our $45 a month figure is based on typical 1.35kW daily power generation with USA average $0.1844/kWh utility rates, and 6 hours of peak sun exposure. Your savings depend on your local sun exposure, electricity prices, and when you choose to sell your energy to the grid. We share an estimate specific to your address with your quote.
Do I need a permit?
Most municipalities will require a permit for a structure and for a grid-tied solar install. Your local installer handles the paperwork and inspections with you so your system is ready to use after install.
Where do you build?
We work with local installers and are expanding market by market starting with Chicago-land. Send your address with your quote request and we'll tell you where you stand in the rollout.
What happens to the power it makes?
It feeds your home first, offsetting the electricity you use.  If you have a battery you can store your power.  Depending on your utility and setup, extra power can be sold back to the grid or kept in your battery for you to use/sell later.
